The fabric of any membership organization is judged by the number, loyalty and active involvement of its members. Ennerdale Rugby Football Club is no different. We are a young, vibrant and dynamic club aspiring to compete against and beat the best clubs in Gauteng and South Africa.
Realising this dream depends on member volunteers for the various programmes we propose to offer within Ennerdale and our immediate surrounding areas, mostly informal settlements with even less facilities and opportunities. The management of the club feels privileged to train, coach and encourage the outstanding rugby players in our schools and the community as a whole. YOU are invited! YOU matter! YOU are the difference maker we are looking for!
What does it mean to be a Member?
The rationale behind starting the club is to use rugby as a vehicle to develop the youth into citizens of substance. This visions has in part come true thanks to the support of the GLRU, the Gauteng Department of Sports Arts Recreation & Culture, Fury Motor Group and a few local small business owners.
Membership of the club can definitely be beneficial, inter alia:
