ENNERDALE RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB IS ON THE RISE

Your Club is taking on a whole new league in 2010. The Ingonyama League was very good to play in. Hopefully we can implement the lessons learned there in this new league. Ennerdale rugby Football Club is now entering the President’s League

ENNERDALE RFC AND THE CITY OF JOHANNESBURG

We find it very strange that our relationship with the GPG is running as smooth as it is and yet we can’t get a relationship with the City of Johannesburg off the ground.

We’ve lost count of the number of different officials we have had discussions with regarding the development of sporting facilities in the area. I’ve had meetings with Mr.Neville Smith, Mr.Krishna Pather, Mr. Michael Kandon, Mr. Vincent Campbell. Mr. Junior Ramovha & Ms. Karen Du Plessis and I’ve even forgotten the names of the others.

City of Johannesburg, "World Class African City" please deliver some of that world class services to a desparate group of locals who have nowhere to go.

Thank You

Update on Ennerdale RFC's efforts to develop Rugby in Ennerdale

Another meeting was convened by the club with the schools that we nominated for the Club & School link project. Another failed attempt to get the schools involved. It is such a shame, because I speak to the children and they want to participate. We have made serious attempts to get the children to our Saturday clinics. The only thing we request from the schools is to organise the children, make sure they understand. Then, make arrangements to get them to the venue where we conduct the clinics. It is the least in a lot of work but even that is not done. It is said that people will not care unless they know how much you care... The same principal applies to the kids. The only school that has been working with us is Lawley Primary.

We would like to commend Mr Marcus Heradien for his commitment and his cooperation. Mr. Heradien transport children from Lawley every Saturday and he has a large number of girls that are part of the clinics. I would like to say that he was not even nominated. Thank You Mr. Heradien from Ennerdale RFC.

Please read the report from the last meeting. HERE

There is a misconception about "Hubbly Bubbly"

Don't be fooled "It is dangerous!" We at Ennerdale Rugby Football Club do not condone this and are strictly against anyone using this. The selling of Hubbly paraphernalia should according to us be banned with immediate effect. Read more about this

Here is your chance to become part of history

Here is a chance to become part of a once in a lifetime opportunity. To volunteer for the FIFA 2010 World Cup will give you an opportunity to meet new people. It will also afford you a chance to gain experience and will probably steer you into an interesting career path if you have not decided what you would like to do. To volunteer is a good thing and the experience alone could be somthing you would carry with you for the rest of your life. For more details on how to be part of this once in a lifetime opportunity click here.
