DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN CAPITAL

When this club was formed in 2006 we set out to use it to be a tool through which we will endeavour to uplift Ennerdale’s youth. We still strive to that lofty ideal – daily. Therefore it gives us great joy to be able to announce that we’ve found a partner who shares our vision and our dream. Welcome aboard AO Developments & partners.

I don’t’ blame you for asking “Who are they?”  Well, they are our development partners and our friends. This company has undertaken to take 20 players from the club and develop them as follows:

5 x apprentices in motor mechanics,

5 x trainees in computer literacy,

5 x apprentices in refrigeration technology

5 x call centre operators.

This programme kicks off in March 2010.

I have your attention now, don’t I, player? Good, if you’ve been a member of the club for the last four years you may come speak to us about the possibility of benefiting from this exceptional scheme. No other rugby club in Gauteng can offer you that.

Some clubs may offer you R 50.00 a match which is negligible compared to what we are offering here at the Phantoms, isn’t it?

I wasn’t lying when I told you that this club would elevate you to heights you thought were impossible. It is written in the Bible: “As ye sow, so shall ye reap”.

Those guys that have been prepared to put their talents at our disposal now get an opportunity to reap the rewards thereof. After completion of their training they will be skilled and enter the job market as skilled and experienced individuals. Those that are so inclined could even start their own small businesses. What a bargain!!
